Come to WestBeach Restaurant during the Bournemouth Air Festival (August 31 to September 3) and you can enjoy award-winning fresh local seafood, locally sourced Dorset meats, fine wines, and some of the best views of the action from your table.
The festival is, of course, the UK’s biggest air show, with more than 8 million visitors since its debut in 2008. As you can imagine, things get busy, both down on Bournemouth beach and up on the clifftop vantage points.
Best Views on the Beach
That’s why we recommend booking in advance over Air Show weekend to guarantee a table for you or your family. You’ll be able to enjoy our wonderful fresh seafood dishes, from Moules Mariniere to fresh local Sea Bass, as well as shellfish, local meats sourced from some of Dorset’s best butchers, and light, tasty bites for the kids.
Don’t leave it to chance and find yourself without somewhere to sit and have lunch with the family. With so much to see at the air show, we’re expecting yet another bumper year on the beach with large crowds. Highlights of the festival include:
- Red Arrows fly past at 6pm on Thursday, 3.30pm on Friday and noon on Saturday
- The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight
- Strikemaster Pair display
- Red Devils Parachute Regiment Freefall team
- And out on the water, a flotilla of Royal Navy Ships.
It’s the biggest free event in Bournemouth as summer winds down. Come and enjoy the spectacle, but don’t forget to secure your favourite spot for lunch or dinner at WestBeach!
