Following on from the success of our pairing event we had in February we have decided to hold another event in March. This time our Head Chef Marcin Pacholarz is teaming up with Helen Macfarlane of Yealands Family Wines from Blenheim, New Zealand to create a fantastic evening of fine wines and gourmet food. Once again Marcin has created a five-course dinner this time featuring the likes of curried seafood bruschetta as well as serving smoked duck’s breast with quail’s egg. For each dish Helen has selected a wine that complements the food.
Located in the Awatere Valley the Yealands Family Wines estate produce multi award-winning New Zealand wines in harmony with the environment and have several sustainability accreditations. Their innovative approach to winegrowing is part of their goal to become the world’s most sustainable wine producer.
